Jaringan Bolasepak Terbesar Dunia
I am just downright excited to see Malaysian football features in football's number one website: ESPN Soccernet. Of course this isn't the first time. The last time I remember was about Malaysian government's intervention in Manchester United's famous pre-season Asian tour which clashed with Asian Cup, the supposedly the biggest football event in Asia.

That was a small push for me to google more if there are more news about Malaysian football on ESPN Soccernet that escaped my attention.

So the results: Of course the latest related to Malaysia Cup final which saw both FAM and Kelantan FA fined over stadium damage. We all know that it was just a matter of time.

And then the mother nature teamed up with widespread biology to screw Malaysian football in the global map, as Intercontinental Cup which was supposed to be held in Malaysia had to be called off due to the outbreak of swine flu. That happened in May this year.

So the Malaysia Cup final's disgrace involving Kelantan fans wasn't a one-off, as in April, ESPN Soccernet reported on Kelantan FA's season-long home ban as the result of violent fans at Kota Bharu stadium.

So in one year, Kelantan FA have to fork out a total of RM140,000 in return for their fans' antics.

As for FAM, they had to pay a sum of RM138,150 to Stadium Bukit Jalil.

With a few punch on the calculator, the total is a staggering RM278,150 overheads for Malaysian football for this year, with two months remaining.

Although he plays shit football, Lucas can pay the bills in two weeks or less.

And finally, real football news: Owen's first goal for Manchester United (as opposed to a brace from Amri Yahyah), Foster's poor form (as opposed to a brace from Amri Yahyah) and another news was about Malaysia's defeat in the hands of Bahrain in World Cup qualifier. Malaysia lost 1-4.

Kedah-born Bunyamin Omar scored on his debut for Malaysia. Maybe something he learnt in Cobham.

That was pretty much I could scoop out about Malaysian football from ESPNSoccernet, and if it is not obvious yet, let me say it: Malaysian football is getting sicker by day. Just look at the news and the idea that would bring to the rest of the world: Malaysian football is a scene full of uncool violence (the cool violence: Galatasaray's UltrAslan), boring and poor performances, politics in football, disgraceful top-level management and to top them, lack of support from its own people.

My finger is still in the pocket and pointing who's wrong is just not going to do any good anymore.

Because maybe I am in the wrong. I am the reason why Malaysian football look foolish. I am the one to be blamed for not loving my own football scene enough to see it do well at world stage. You are all innocent. Blame me.

Yes, me.
