I am reading four different books at one time now. One I let linger around my bed, another in my traveling bag, and the third in my school bag. Lastly, and maybe the most important one, in the toilet.

There is a thing about reading multiple books at a time, that in a way shares an idea of having multiple girlfriends at one time: it fucks your mind big time. Especially the genre and the kind of tone you have to bring yourself to are different.

You are what you read, as the saying has it. So it is quite difficult sometimes to quickly turn to think about Hemingway when Orwell was talking to you.

Sometimes I see myself as a philanderer for this matter, and with hindsight, I can tell you it is not cool at all.

So moral of the story, do it one at a time.
